I don't guide my life by what was practised in any church. The Bible says someone in Corinth banged his stepmother and boasted about it. That's very early in the church. I guide my life by what was practised by Jesus and by what the Bible says. The Bible says to pray to the Father in the name of the Son. If you're praying to Mary or any so-called "saint" you're doing Christianity wrong.

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. 1Tim2:5-6.
