They couldn't cope with their reality so they tried to change themselves to live their fantasy: to be someone they're not.

...and then more than that, they then demanded that everyone around them partake in their delusion and double think their way to believing that they really are the gender they want to be.

Really, really, really wanting something to be true makes it so, in modern leftist minds.
