If you go to college get a degree that gives you a skill set that someone is looking for and be willing to hire you for. For example, there will be very few jobs for a person with a degree in Trans Gender Studies, but there will be lots of jobs for people with a degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Computer Science, etc.
