All of us are going to hell, that's the sad truth of it. Believing in Jesus Christ is not enough to save your soul. Going to church is not enough to save your soul. It's not that easy. In order to escape hell and the cycle of rebirth, you have to put in super efforts, you have to work hard, daily, on eliminating all ego, on being ethical and so much more...because we are all rotten degenerates, full of lust, desire, anger, greed, hatred, laziness, gluttony, vanity, conceit and so on... The truth of the matter is, going to "heaven" goes against nature, it's a rebellion, and only a literal handful makes it every century. Coming to terms with this is so painful.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:8-10
My Father created me for Himself, He also made a way back to Him through the redemption power of Christ’s blood.
Life is a struggle against the passions. Seek the virtues and spend time in the presence of God daily, through prayer and spiritual reading. Attend corporate worship services, and receive the sacraments. All these things will be helpful in saving your soul. It is not impossible, just difficult.
