This is the problem with public stock risk-adverse companies taking jobs like this. They are filled with long tenured middle managers too wary of risking their retirements. They are so cautious, they are scared to do anything. They are progress paralyzed. Compare this to SpaceX, a private company expecting, preparing for and learning from failure.
