Meanwhile where I live power prices are hitting a record low(northern half of the country, the south are suffering with the opposite) at 0.001$ pr KwH and about a year ago I signed a fixed-price 5 year contract for 0.03$ pr KwH, while people in the south are paying 0.3-0.8$ pr KwH.
Kinda glad politicians being their typical corrupt and inept selves dragged their feet and found excuses to not create a high capacity power infrastructure connection between the north and the south as it means that the power abundance we have up here physically can't be shared with the south......
