I like your handle. Someone on Telegram made a bold statement about David Icke being a 33rd degree Freemason. I'm on the fence about Icke, but I felt that making a statement like that should be couched in a supportive source, so I asked him for a source. If that were true, I'd like to know about it. They responded, "Do your own research!" Now, I believe it's important for people to make an effort to verify things on their own, and I have choice subjects for which I do engage in research. I can't cover everything, though, and I thought the point of the GAW movement was to share information to benefit the community and fight the war against misinformation and propaganda. Can you imagine a journalist saying "Do your own research!" to the public? Or submitting a half-assed thesis to your professor with the conclusion, "Do your own research!"? If someone is not willing to share their evidence, they should keep bold, incriminating statements to themselves. Just my humble opinion, in support of Patriots who contribute in a helpful and meaningful way.
Easy enough to find input on the topic. If, after researching it (if you so desire) you find that the Telegram person's claims seem unfounded, you can go back to them and ask again, now armed with more knowledge. If their statement was an expression of opinion and bias, they likely won't reply at all or may up the hostility. Or they may surprise you and admit part of their conviction is based on feeling vs fact - and they learn by this. Either way you can learn something about this Telegram person as a result and adjust your engagement with them accordingly.
I find most, not all, people here on GAW are pretty willing to provide sources when asked. A lot of others, like myself, are happy to go dig for other's sources if we're at all curious on the topic as kind of an educational exercise as we have some time on our hands. Some people are just very busy in life with families and work and such. Others just take affront to anyone questioning their statements, just crabby and defensive. Times are stressful, nerves are frayed. It takes all kinds. In general, I agree with your humble opinion.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, and even going so far as to dig into the subject yourself. I appreciate that. I guess I was shocked at the hostility and hyper-defensive reply to my Telegram request, which was not meant to offend. I agree, these are emotional times and people are easily triggered.
You're welcome. There are all types here (and elsewhere) and I've had the same experience as you. IMHO the person being nasty is simply diminishing themselves, not the person they're aiming their nasty vitriol at. I've also seen some screamers apologize to their discussion counterparts when they realize they've been out of line. Touchy times.
The good, helpful, solid people here vastly outnumber the poorly-behaved ones on any given day. If it weren't for the good-as-gold ones here, I wouldn't have learned all that I have over time. There are some truly knowledgeable, good people here who freely and graciously share their expertise. I hope you enjoy your participation here without taking on too much flak. ;)
I truly value the efforts and discussion coming from this community, and haven't experienced any negativity on this platform personally. Cheers!
