I started taking them as soon as I got them. I feel relieved, sadly. I can’t help but feel relieved, guilty and also defeated because I let big pharma take hold of my mental health. It feels bad man. I want to taper off of them asap but I don’t know what I can replace my antidepressants with and I am terrified to have an episode again. Before I was medicated I was having episodes daily. They calmed down after I got an SSRI. 5 days without them and I had an episode and it was by far the worst breakdown I’ve had. I stressed my boyfriend out to the max because he was the one trying to calm me down. Feels really bad man.

You are among frens here and many of us have been where you are. Wean off slowly and you won’t go through what you did when you quit cold. This is what the enemy does to us, to weaken and destroy us, I can state from personal experience that you can and will be free of them. I’m praying for you KQ. You can do this.
It means so much to me guys, truly. I’m gonna get through this. I want to get off meds and try something natural.
St John's wort is natural and good for depression, but check it out with a herbalist, because it can interfere with other medications.
Also, get into some serious B vitamins, especially B12 and B6. Without them, you can have panic attacks. In fact, also take 10,000 IUs of vit D daily for a while to see if you are lacking that.
... and Cannabis, as some frens have pointed out.
NOTE: as good as St. John's Wort can be, it can also lead to liver issues, so be vigilante!
