QRD: Chicago Bears are looking to move to a different town and it looks to be Arlington Heights (Northwest of Chicago, in the suburbs) and Auntie Beetlejuice is trying to keep the Bears in Chicago by offering alternatives as well as add-ons to Soldier Field. The Bears can't modify or demolish anything pertaining to Soldier Field, due to it now being a part of the Chicago Historical Society (like the Chicago Cubs' Wrigley Field) and renovations or the like, can't be done on Soldier Field.
Not only that but Soldier Field is the smallest stadium in the U.S. because it was built in 1924.
When I first saw the post, I thought I'd be walking through comments praising Lori for her "hard working as the mayor of one of the best cities in America, Chicago" but nope, they want her out. Not just due to her possibly losing the Bears as a mayor, but due to her not being a great mayor and they rank her lower than Emanuel Rahm and the Daleys.
Soldier field was built in1924 and could hold over 100K people. It was remodeled a couple of times and now is the smallest stadium in the NFL. The Bears are moving because the deal they currently have with the city. The city gets all of the concessions and parking revenue.
The team has been planning this for a long-time.
