The royals have the ultimate veto power of dissolving parliament, which they do on a regularly prescribed basis.
What happens if they dissolve it without rhyme or reason? Meaning, they’re in charge again- and we’re just going to have to work it out from here. Anyone have any doubt who the House of Lords would follow?
Probably would be attacked and strung in the streets if the people weren’t for it, but what if the people were for it?
Legally, they still have the ultimate power to guide the future, they have simply chosen to go along, for now, with what the “people” want. (That they just so happen to lead them to “want”.)
Make no mistake, though….. the power is still there. It’s just in quadruple-speak legalese, which is what these people thrive on. The laws are always written to protect them above everyone else.
Let’s see what “King Charles” does. He’s such a f’n whackadoodle I genuinely expect the worst. But maybe it won’t be. Probably will be, though, because money is their god.
