Flights in the southern hemisphere to a different continent in the southern hemisphere have to go through northern hemisphere cities and take days.... Why?
If you look at a flat earth map, such as UN, you might be able to figure it out.
I know why - trying to make them think
Quantas Airlines flight 28.
Santiago, Chile to Sydney, Australia. Direct, non-stop, twice per week. 13 hours travel time.
So, you're wrong. However, this does not prove or disprove earth being flat or spherical. It simply proves that you're wrong about intercontinental, southern hemisphere flights "have to go through northern hemisphere cities and take days".
Direct flights in the southern hemisphere are indeed rare, but that's primarily because the southern hemisphere has significantly less land mass and population than the northern hemisphere. There just isn't the demand for flights down there like there is between North America, Europe, and Asia.
What the f? Lol what do you mean. If you fly from Argentina to South Africa you stay in the Southern Hemisphere, at what point do you fly over the northern?
Try and book a flight from Buenos Aires to Johannesburg - fastest I saw was almost 28 hrs. It's only 5,000 globe miles
That flight went through Istanbul. Some Newark or Europe.
LA to Tokyo is 5,400 globe miles and you can do it in under 11 hrs
