Yes the work went to Bill Gates. The problem and so-called solution was born in Miami Florida. After zika and other deadly mosquito borne diseases they had no idea what to do as the mosquitoes got worse every year. The University of Miami and other laboratories did a lot of work to determine if it was safe or not to eliminate mosquitoes from our planet. We are led to believe everything here has a purpose and is part of the food chain. Would we many years down the road begin to see a problem?
Throughout all of the test and findings they couldn't find one use for the mosquito on Earth! Now I will finish by saying I was not a part of these studies and don't know if they found other things and hid them. In
They are eradicating mosquitoes. In the beginning they said imagine a world without mosquitoes. In the meantime they were spreading deadly disease. My spouses cousin got encephalitis at 11 years old and had to be cared for the rest of his life because of a mosquito bite. That happened in New Jersey.
In the end they decided to do this and stop the breeding of mosquitoes. And to create a genetically modified mosquito to be able to do it - they gave that work to Bill Gates. This was a process of about 10 years.
I have always worried since I have known about this study reported in Florida newspapers over the years, what will really happen from eliminating one of the planets species? Even though I hate mosquitoes I am highly allergic they bite me everywhere all the time and it's for weeks! I hate them!
But I wondered about it and the last I heard was Bill Gates was doing the work after the go ahead was given, to release mosquitoes with infertility to kill them off.
Will it now make a person infertile if they are bitten by a mosquito that is infertile? I don't know. But I'll bet that was part of the study at the University of Miami.
So maybe we can get them to do some current reporting on this? Because I remember when they were just talking about it and when it came to be. They should have some sort of update at this point.
I keep seeing these posts, while we have a lot of medical work going on causing infertility, this did not come from that angle. So I wanted to take the time to write everybody about what I know about these genetically modified mosquitoes. That is what they are. And they are supposed to be all gone someday.

I would love an update!
