How the fck does a MAJOR metropolitan city have this disgusting crap going on in the 21st century?! Please tell me this is not caused by the BUILD BLACK WATER ACT!
It’s what happens when you put a bunch of joggers in charge.

"Failure of a water treatment plant" is an understatement
Jackson MS is a shithole. Been there once, never again.
From an article:
Is Jackson MS water safe to drink?
"Jackson, the state capital, is more than 80% Black or African American, according to U.S. Census data. "Do not drink the water," Reeves told a hastily called news conference. "In too many cases, it is raw water from the reservoir being pushed through the pipes." - Aug 31, 2022
And this:
"On the surface, the apparent cause of this crisis is damaged infrastructure: Recent flooding strained the city’s largest water treatment plant, O.B. Curtis, which was already dogged with problems. Plus, there was another issue with water pumps at a secondary treatment facility known as J.H. Fewell. As a result, many of the city’s water towers remain nearly empty, leaving the system without enough water or water pressure to fill pipes in homes, schools, and businesses."
my first guess is that the property or a nearby water main broke and dirt/mud is making its way through water lines. that's too dark I'd think for it to be a problem from too far away in the water system
That looks like something a democRat government would do.
