If God is the same God he's always been, why would He stop using prophets?

Amos 3:7 "For the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets."

I didn't say they don't exist.
We don't understand God or what he chooses to do. Logic does not need to apply to God.

I will be. Very suspicious of anyone claiming to be a prophet, if even one of theor proficiency do not come to pass, or if they speak in vague proficiency, they are no true profit.
