Online sellers need to have echeck as an option that way people don't have to use a credit card. The precious metal businesses I've dealt with offered a small discount for using cash instead of cc as it saves them fees too. I use cash in person, only. I use credit cards online as most businesses don't offer echeck options.
Yes, I would agree that cash is the way to go. As long as we still have it.
Remember during the height of the pandemic all kinds of businesses had coin shortages? I am aware of some businesses that no longer take cash. The whole bit coin Era will be controlled even more than credit cards if the west and Central banks have their way.
