I understand your point here but.... you dont understand how China works, the reason there are this many apartments open is because they are not ment to hold people. Its all a big scam dealing with how cities get founding and taxes, there are also scams where buyers have to start paying rent on apartments with monthly payments while its still being built and then it never gets built leaving those people to keep paying rent. Many people in China can't trust to put their money in banks so they buy real estate to hold their wealth. Further more the corruption in China has buildings and homes fall apart after 10 years because of all the corners that are cut. imagine buying a $100,000+ home and all the concrete fails and crumbles over in 10 years. There are other reasons why too. The more you really look into China you see how its worse than most of us think it is already.
