As I was watching the clip from New Guinea, I was trying to catch the coloration of the sky on the horizon. I'm not certain, because it may have been chromatic aberration of the lens of the camera/cellphone, but it looked like there may have been something like "rainbow clouds" briefly seen for a couple of moments.

The same phenomenon happened in China in 2008, immediately preceding an earthquake there. It was rumored to have been evidence of HAARP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKMTSDzU1Z4
