Sorry Folks I tire of the lack of understanding of this subject too often shown here.
First it is the Book of Revelation - SINGULAR!
Revelation 1:1-3 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.
Second beware - always - of chaptalisation of the Bible it wasn't written with chapter and verse numbers - there were added much later, circa 1227 is the earliest date I've seen. Sadly chapters and verses suggest the end of a matter when they are often not.
The mark of the beast appears at the end of Chapter 13 of Revelation. Chapter 14 - just a continuation - goes on and we see the proclamations of the three angels
Revelation 14:9-11 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”
The jab has been here quite some time - did anyone see an angel flying overhead warning against taking it? No - so it isn't the mark. Don't mistake me, I am not saying the absence of the angel makes the jab OK it's not as we well know.
So God will not allow anyone to take the mark of the beast by accident - it will be about making a decision to take it in defiance of God's express warning.
The mark will be on the hand or forehead - visible for all to see,
