You might not believe me. But I wish I was joking. If anything I’m glad it happened, always wanted to have contact, I will keep trying to establish coms with them.
Quite honestly I believe you. I just wanted to post one of my favorite lines of the movie. Its how the plebs want to see what you're saying. Close Encounters could be dormant documentary for all we know.

Which ironically was based on a true story. Apparently Kubrick was promised the raw footage, which was held back at the last minute, so he made up the film based on what he was told was in the raw footage.
