I actually have mentioned this before, maybe not online but to people I know.

But if you’re ultra leftwing or gay, the intelligence agencies (eg FBI) will give you a security clearance and give you a nice job. Seriously.

So I wouldn’t doubt that some longtimers have something and would be willing to talk about it.
