I went through weeks and weeks of dread an despair waiting to see if my religious exemption would be approved or not. Taking a significant mental hit, I watched my co workers and friends get fired for either not getting the vaccine or having their religious exemption denied. My last 1:1 with my manager I opened up how us unvaxed are completely excluded and discriminated against and how much of a mental toll it has taken.

She was shocked to hear that people were actually fired over it.

I was so fucking mad. They get to live in this made up fantasy while the rest of us all suffer and become other'd. "Shocked" to hear... like wake the fuck up.
