My good friend is saying goodbye to this world today. He had a bicycle accident which left him brain dead. They’re harvesting his organs right now, 8 PM mountain time, and his family is saying goodbye to him. He was only 38 Yrs old! I really have nobody to share this with.

I am so sorry for your tragic news. I pray you and Rob's family will be comforted as you mourn the loss of this young man. Tomorrow is certainly never promised to us...this just reminds us of the fragility of life and the need for a relationship with Abba, our Heavenly Father who sends the Comforter. God bless you all.
Yes I am so grateful that I have a relationship with my Lord and Savior. The Lord has truly blessed me, and I know it was Rob‘s time, because the Lord took him. I can only hope to know the reason why when we meet in heaven together. God bless you have a great night.
So very sorry for your loss. Lost a very dear friend two years ago and I still think about him all of the time. He had a weird near death type experience ten years before he died. Passed out in his bathroom with off the charts high BP. Three men told him it wasn't his time and he had ten years. So weird that he would tell me and my husband that a few years before he passed. We thought he was joking, because he was not the type of guy to share a story like that.
Anyway, he died ten years after the first incident. I think we were meant to tell his wife after he passed. She was absolutely devastated because it was very sudden. When I mentioned the three men thing, she said, "What are you talking about?" If my husband hadn't have been there when he told us that story I would have doubted my memory of it. I do believe every hair on our head is numbered and we are called when the Lord wants us.
Very interesting story, and it’s not surprising to me at all. I know there is an afterlife, and I believe everything your friend told you. I’m happy he found his way to the Lord.
