I am not spending 27 hours watching a playlist that tries to claim the rapture is a Jesuit conspiracy. That's ludicrous. It's in the Bible. If you'd like to explain how Daniel's 70th week has already been fulfilled, I'm all ears...
Cool, good thing the one I sent you was only about 9 hours of videos that stand on their own and the playlist was a collection of videos and talks of all types pertaining to the broader subject. Since it's not from just one or 2 verses, it's throughout scripture. Example: How can you believe the good will be swept off the earth in a rapture while the wicked are left alive behind..... IF in the "last days" it will be like in the days of Noah.
We should both know that the Noah and the ark were foreshadows of and representative of Christ and salvation. There are at least a half dozen parallels I can think of off the top of my head. i.e. it only had one door & Jesus said "I am the gate. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved." in John 10:9. That's THE door, not a door and only those inside were saved from God's judgment.... just like the "flock" of animals Noah 'shepherded" in.
Now who was swept off the Earth in Noah's age? Was it the good and those that were in the ark (Christ) or was it the wicked that God's judgment came on and they were swept away? Does the wheat get removed BEFORE the Chaff is burned? No. The Chaff burns and the wheat remains and on and on and on. Those are just a couple basic examples of what picture the whole of scripture paints us.
And I'm not spending an hour talking to you as you've already misrepresented me, my position, and now something about Jesuits that's not my position, it's in the title of ONE of the videos in that list that also covers some other interesting points. Judge books by their cover do ya? That's not wise is it?
Go watch ONE of the debates or sermons in there of the discussion between James White and Douglas Wilson where Dr White (One of the leading authorities in the WORLD on Biblical translation and textual transmission) talks about what brought him from the tradition he was taught and held most of his life (your position) to post-millennialism. Or don't. If you're all ears click the play button. If you're a prideful person that can't process new information because it could show you that you've been wrong then you are unteachable and close minded.
Have a good one. I'm all done here and unlike you I have spent FAR more that 27 hours examining all 3 positions without misrepresenting them and how they hold up to scripture and scrutiny.
In the flood, Noah and his family, the righteous, were removed to a safe place, the ark, while judgement was brought on all those who were left behind. In the rapture, the saved will be removed to a safe place, in the air with Christ for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, while judgement is brought on the earth and all the unsaved left in it. Safe place = Ark / Marriage Supper. Unsafe place = left behind on the earth.
I actually did watch one of your videos, the Jesuit one. Have you watched it? All the way through? He outright mocks, not only scripture, but Jesus' own words! It's at the 25 minute mark (https://youtu.be/i3hXKNTMuEY?t=1483). He ridicules the idea that a wife sleeping next to her husband may be taken up in the rapture while the husband is left behind in the bed. But, that's EXACTLY what Jesus said will happen!
Matthew 24:38-41 "For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one left."
Do you still say these videos stand on their own? I picked one at random to watch and the guy either doesn't know very basic things in scripture or he is deliberately misrepresenting it.
So glad you picked one at random instead of listening to what video I said to at least watch. /s I found a couple of things mentioned IN video to be interesting points when I watched it quite some time ago. You know you're making a genetic logical fallacy right? You know I already stated I included that video because of SOME things they said, not all. So why are you trying to dishonestly make that my entire position and instead ignoring what I said? That's intellectually dishonest and you are clearly not trying to exchange ideas and present argumentation in good faith. Pro-tip: never misrepresent someone you disagree with. At this point you have done that multiple times to me. We're done here.
Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one left." AMEN!
But NOWHERE in that verse does it say who is being taken. You are assuming alot there.
Lets look at that..... Flood = Judgment Ark = Christ Those in Ark / Christ = Safe from Judgment Those not in Ark / Christ = Swept away
And Jesus came to put and end to what again? Sin right? He didn't say pause the good did He? So why would you assume He would take away all that are Good by God's standard and leave the wicked? The chaff burns, the wheat remains. Not the other way around.
In the flood, Noah and his family, the righteous, were IN THE ARK SYMBOLIC OF CHRIST, while judgement was brought on all those who were NOT IN CHRIST. In the FINAL JUDGMENT, the WICKED will be DESTROYED, We will be left on Earth with Christ, the 2nd Adam, as He restores the Earth to the Garden. The 1st Adam took something off a tree and sin, decay and death entered the world, the second Adam was put up on a tree and those things are exiting the world, the last one being death. Judgment is DONE on the earth and there are no unsaved left on it. FIFY
The bible doesn't tell us to be safe. Being a Christian is being an ENEMY of the world. We are told to suffer for Christ, not to be "safe" Unsafe place = where you're at by ignoring the clear picture of the ark being Christ and instead warping scripture to support your presuppositions and pride.
Repent of your dishonesty with me and yourself. Good day.
It is written in 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
