What gets me is the clothing. All new shoes, clothes, and bags. Iβm in the NE and a few times I was at Marshalls. We have a variety of people who live here but there was one time that there were four Spanish ladies checking out. They each had about $1000 worth of clothes, which is hard to do at marshalls and not typical for the culture. Iβve also noticed at Costco a few times, people with multiple carts (thousands of dollars worth) loading food into crappy cars. It caught my attention the first time bc they had the passenger seat almost packed to the top with more items in the cart and nowhere for the passenger to sit. I only mention it bc itβs abnormal and Iβve seen it at least a dozen times
