Yup. That's a good summation.
It's a cult, complete with dogma, sins, excommunication, and superstition.
If you aren't allowed to freely leave your organization without pushback and public shaming, it's not a religion it's a cult.
It used to be everyone carried a Bible with them for guidance. Now everyone carries a smart-phone and prays to almighty Google.
Well, every organization or group has a few smart folks. This guy summed it up very eloquently. My summary would be far more crass and punctuated with tar and feathers.
