There was a different guy who was one of Trumps picks who the doj agreed too being the specialmaster. It was the fisa court judge who allowed the DOJ to spy on Carter Page.

Allowed because the FBI swore everything they said to the judge was vetted and true when, in fact, the FBI not only lied to the judge but falsified evidence from the CIA which doxxed/burned one of the CIAs assets, Carter Page.

This falsification has been proven, thanks to Durham. He got the FBI lawyer who did it to plead guilty and confess, on the record.
