Monsanto, Vanguard and Blackrock bought up 70% of the Ukraine farmland after they pushed through a change in the law allowing it. I think Zelensky was the president that signed it.

The US ruined the Soviet investment in Afghanistan, and now the Russians are trying to do the same in Ukraine
