There is no Natural reason why Africa couldn't thrive as a sovereign nation. Outsiders/Global serpents been fucking with your country and it's people for a very long time, keeping you all fighting each other and making you angry at anyone who threatens their control over you then sit back and rub their hands together and watch the chaos as millions die.
