The fact they're still prosecuting people this low on the totem pole when there's evidence going straight top is just mind boggling. Just remember the government can't retain competent employees and attract talent, including in the DOJ, so to expect them to run a smooth investigation would be asking for too much. Anyone worth the suit they wear would go to a private firm after a year or two.
