This sounds like a trip of a lifetime that I have listed on my bucket list towards the top! I learned about this island while I was researching the lost continents of Mu and Lemuria and learned about the first non-inhabitant who was told NOT to disturb the islands sacred ruins but he did anyway and he found the skeletal remains of giants there! After some checking, you realize that this German General DID die on that island when they said he did, so that got me beyond intrigued! I learned that nobody will take you to the island after dusk and you will be lucky to just find somebody to take you there during the day too...that just adds to the whole thing! I didn't know about other countries going there after the German General did or about the "little people"!! So many more fascinating subjects about this one place that I need to keep researching, apparently. Hearing about the "little people" reminds me of the Menehune of Oahu who the aboriginals say are real and not just myth and they live underground and deep into forests. It's pretty amazing and I think this island is way more interesting than I originally thought!!
Thank you so much for your detailed response and for not forgetting about me! I really appreciate it and this type of history, I totally get a kick out of it! You truly had a once-in-a-lifetime experience!!
