The original version of this photo shows a "K" just behind the ginger's foot. You can see the marking on the floor.

Someone trimmed this photo to remove the "K". Why?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the "Q" and "K" markings are there to show King Chuck and his trusty steed where to stand.
