Yeap - I brought some expensive a.f mince for my dogs a few weeks back (think shes reacting to manufacture food) - thinking if its pricey its real - couple days later read the ingredient list and thought "youre kidding me" full of add ons.
Another example, a family member here in oz worked in a biscuit factory - casually mentioned the other day how arsenic was added (think he has 4 jabs so of course doesn't see a problem). I assume this is why we also have the less then 5% rule. Ingredients make up less then 5% they DO NOT have to declare it in the ingredient list.
Another aussie example. Up the road is a cattle farm. Its split in 2. Half for Japan, half for oz. Japanese beef gets nothing artificial - no pokes, no meds and if its needed - its medicated and thrown into the aussie market paddock.
