I guess they didn't need aquariums on the ark, as the flood was, (wait for it), ........... water! 😉😄
so then how is there freshwater fish today?

And I will say, you do have a point regarding fresh-water fish, granted the flood was all saltwater.
yeah i'm an asshole sometimes.
so here's my understanding...
noah builds this ark to save 2 each of every animal on the planet... and because he saved a mated pair of all these animals once the flood waters receded the animals fucked off back to whence they came and proceeded to make lots more of the animals.
and were it not for noahs ark those animals would have died and thus we would not have them today.
ok... so...
as soon as the entire planet floods, what little surface freshwater there is mixes with all the saltwater... and all the freshwater fish die.
so no more freshwater fish?
