I felt an earthquake here in Japan this morning and it woke me up. I didn't look at the time, but I imagine it was about 6am. It didn't last long, either.
L.A., is next. All the Earth Quakes just pass the friction down the line. It's building up somewhere for a big one. I got my Money that San Andreas fault is about to pop.
I know this reply is a bit late, but I live a little over 100 miles from the New Madrid Faultline. It has been over 200 years (I think) since it last shifted. Kentucky sits on one of the largest cave systems in North America and I think perhaps the world. We have Mammoth cave to the north of where I live and Dunbar Cave to the south just over the line in Tennessee. Campbell's Cave runs beneath my entire town. I was told that if a 'Big One' were to hit, we simply will have NO HOPE. As one man put it; 'Put your head between your legs and kiss your butt goodbye."
I had heard the DUMBS were located at exactly 3 and 10km deep. There are plenty listed at 10.0km but haven’t seen any at 3km.
