I'd start here:

Before we get into sharks we need to go into what wolf symbolism. The shark panic started on 7/1/1916 which is written in the UK as 1/7/1916. This is the same day as the Battle of Somme in Britain which is one of the bloodiest days in British History.

Wolves

No wolf is more famous than the Big Bad Wolf.

The Big Bad Wolf, also known as *Zeke Midas Wolf *or Br'er Wolf, is a fictional character from Walt Disney's cartoon short Three Little Pigs, directed by Burt Gillett and first released on May 27, 1933. The Wolf's voice was provided by Billy Bletcher. As in the folktale, he was a cunning and threatening menace. The short also introduced the Wolf's theme song, "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?", written by Frank Churchill.

The Finnish really hates wolves.

Unlike the fox and the bear, the wolf has been feared and hated in Finland for a long time. The wolf has been the symbol of destruction and desolation to the extent that the very word for wolf in the Finnish language, susi, also means "a useless thing", and the by-name hukka means perdition and annihilation. While the bear has been the sacred animal of the Finns, wolves have been hunted and killed mercilessly for a long time. The wolf has been represented as an implacable and malicious predator, killing more than it manages to eat.

Why the wolf symbolism for Nazi Germany?

Adolf, derived from the Old High German Athalwolf, a composition of athal, or adal, meaning noble, and wolf; its Anglo-Saxon cognate is Æthelwulf.

The name Adolf means "Wolf".

On 23 March 1945 Goebbels gave a speech known as the "Werwolf speech", in which he urged every German to fight to the death. The partial dismantling of the organised Werwolf, combined with the effects of the Werwolf speech, caused considerable confusion about which subsequent attacks were carried out by Werwolf members, as opposed to solo acts by fanatical Nazis or small groups of SS.

The Werwolf propaganda station "Radio Werwolf" broadcast from Nauen near Berlin, beginning on 1 April 1945. Broadcasts began with the sound of a wolf howling, and a song featuring the lyrics, "My werewolf teeth bite the enemy / And then he's done and then he's gone / Hoo, hoo hoo."[13] The initial broadcast stated that the Nazi Party was ordering every German to "stand his ground and do or die against the Allied armies, who are preparing to enslave Germans.

Werwolf originally had about five thousand members recruited from the SS and the Hitler Youth. These recruits were specially trained in guerrilla tactics. Operation Werwolf went so far as to establish front companies to ensure continued fighting in those areas of Germany that were occupied

James is kidnapped and his look-alike is bribed and changes sides. James is mistaken for a wanted murderer and has to re-establish his identity.

The Summer of the Shark preceded 911. It was the build up. The MSM went crazy with warnings about shark attacks even though there was no big increase in any.

Increasing shark attacks are calms for "approaching danger". Think of the JAWS song. It means sharks have caught the scent of blood and are hunting.

What's Interesting is how many PI (Private Investigation) places are called "SHARKS".
