So when "open" Slavery was abolished in the United States (I say "open" because Slavery in the United States today is the prison system, prisoners are considered slaves, so it wasn't really abolished), a lot of the freed slaves went back to Africa. Specifically Liberia. When they got there, the freed slaves were better educated and ended up enslaving a lot of the locals as they took over the country.
Tribes in Africa also would enslave the losing side when there was war between them.
This isn't a black/white thing at all. Its more about when one class of people become empowered over another and what eventually happens.
Kind of like how the elites are trying to keep us enslaved now. Its more of a rich vs poor thing than it is a racial thing.
