Hi. Yes I can do this, though not expertly. I've only experienced it a few times.
I can't explain your experience because I can't even explain my own. But I can share some of my weirdest ones.
I was interrupted just as I was about to pop out and there was a massive eyeball on my ceiling looking down on me and it "felt" like it was me somewhere else looking back at the me here on this plane.
Another time I was interrupted and saw a demon-looking thing vomiting in my bed. (Oh and after I saw that my daughter who was in my bed suddenly sat up and puked, so yeah you could say I was freaked because I know this wierd shit happens to me but stay the F away from my kids.)
And my very first OBE i became conscious while OOB and found myself floating up against my ceiling then felt myself drift back down and go back into my body. Strange things happen to me and I have basically no one to talk to because it seems to rarely happen to others.
Oh and the best experience ever took me off planet to learn the meaning of life, too much to type here though.
How old are you? You could be early on your journey. I'm in my mid 40's and this started spontaneously for me in childhood. Along with lucid dreams, prophetic dreams, and other things.
35..my knowledge quests have usually been drug induced so props to you for uncovering those truths without. Are you still active on the journey? I prophesize somewhat but I think my law of attraction rate is just high
Have you tried lucid dreaming? u/escapefromearth seems to be having some sort of sleep paralysis/lucid dreaming episode.
It’s happened to me a few times after days and days of constant shitty sleep schedule. For example, I’d sleep all afternoon, wake up to eat and the basics, then try to go back to sleep 2-3 hours after waking up and I’d have some crazy “out of body experiences”.
Craziest one yet, I “woke up” and knew my body was asleep, so I tried to wake myself up from within my dream. Used up all my “strength” to crawl to the other side of my room to turn the lights on and wake myself up. As soon as I flicked that switch, i woke up, still in bed, lights off.
Freaky shit lol. Got paranoid about sleeping during the evening after that and saved my full tired self til bedtime

Man yours seem very vivid compared to mine. Almost a bit like Constantine there. That last one sounds like a dmt trip hah.
Looking down at myself from a 3rd person perspective has happened but this is more of a physical feeling for me.
I have been given all of the answers to life only to have them stripped away within seconds from me. Crazy shit
