I had been following hurricanes as a hobby since we moved here in 98.I learned a ton from Jeff Masters on the Cat 6 blog on Weather Underground. (There is a rabbit hole on what happened with that site - regarding the personal weather station reporting… think antithetical evidence to global warming narrative. IBM involved.)
I noticed a trend in recent years where the storms would rapidly explode as they got close to the coast. It didn’t make sense meteorologically and was so different from other storms. Once I learned about HAARP, I knew they had been messing with these storms.
Look at Michael and what it did to Mexico Beach. Sudden intensification.
With this being the SST map, https://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/DATA/RT/SST/ATL/20.jpg actual or purported, and tonight's NHS cone map showing an I-storm Major (Ian) as it approaches Florida, we can expect it going in strong.
I am usually the one in the family to raise the alarms about an approaching storm and to start prepping, as soon as the models show that there is a chance of hitting us. Today my husband was the one pushing me to start thinking about it.
I am just over hurricane prep and have no energy for this. We have 5 acres and it is a lot to batten down the hatches when you haven’t done it in a while…
I understand that one. :)
5 acres. Maybe you can take a Sabbath rest. You may find yourself eager to get to work by the end of it.
