Poland has gotten screwed by the West before in WW2. They likely won’t act without various serious guarantees and concessions from NATO powers. The various wounds and traumas from World War 2 and the Cold War haven’t quite faded yet. Only reason they maintain friendly relations with NATO is they especially don’t like Russia due to the whole USSR, brutal occupation, and puppet Government thing.
