There was a post earlier this week discussing oil being constantly produced in the earth.
Made me think of exodus 17:6. ‘and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink.

Oil definitely comes from decayed organic material that has found it’s way miles into the earths crust in some instances…… once you say that three times it starts to sound ridiculous.
Agreed. The problem is that there are two sources of "fossil" fuels:
The second source is a mechanism where vast amounts of hydrocarbon gas trapped inside the Earth (under enormous pressure) finds a path to get to the surface.
The outgassing is the origin for most natural gas and oil deposits. You can think of oil as condensed natural gas. It is no coincidence that the major deposits are always found along current or previous rift zones, where tectonic plates are moving apart... creating a path for the trapped hydrocarbons to get to the surface.
Once you understand the two sources, and the attempt to trick people into thinking there is only one source (ancient sediments - in order to pretend there is scarcity), then you finally understand that the supply of hydrocarbon fuels is almost infinite from our human perspective.
This is what President Trump was referring to...
