Sure. I’m an active duty officer currently (that’s more than I’ve shared in the past) and the flag ranks (admirals and generals) denote what echelon of command that individual has. Caine coming out of retirement as a 3-star to take a job reserved for a 4-star is probably unprecedented.
Most of us believe Q is a military op decades in the making. That high ranked officers have held the reins for years steering us towards this moment. But only a select few, vetted and vetted again over the career.
So now we have Trump doing exactly what we hoped he would do, gutting DC and draining the swamp. I see tapping Caine for the position as him bringing out the “behind the scenes” not-for-television generals and admirals.
I’m still in currently coming up on retirement in a few years. Went to one of the service academies a few years after 9/11. Many of my classmates were prior enlisted fellas who were in the thick of it (to put it lightly).
I started having my awakening after the Obama election. Started questioning everything from 9/11 to my own catholic faith full of pedos. But wasnt full fledged awake until late 2019. I’ve always despised being in the military simply because of my realization of certain things that you alluded to. Pissed me off that I had such good intentions being a patriot wanting to defend the nation from brown men with box cutters.
But I gave myself a new mission. This whole woke agenda stuff was raging when I entered the academy. I couldn’t stand it. I’ve been actively skirting lines doing everything I can to affect change in culture. Usually pointless but it keeps me occupied. But now that I have the full might of the whitehouse behind me, no holds on policy changes I can push.
Long story short, it’s healthy to grow and look back and ask if it was worth it. What better teaching moment for the future than to be able to say…. “I used to believe this and finally realized I was completely wrong.” The mission of the military will change in short order and we will still need people who aren’t sheep like we all probably were at one time. We need people proud of what they are representing for the right reasons.
Can confirm this is happening. 95 % of my employees are in the office every day. We have a few that worked out deals years ago and the organization allowed remote work in order to keep their strong performance. It’s a shame these guys are going to suffer the consequence but they are completely understanding, albeit disappointed.
