Except the gun, which he bought illegally, wasn’t lost. It was tossed into a dumpster by Hallie Biden, who was afraid that Hunter was going to kill himself when he was high. Who is Hallie? She’s the widow of Hunter’s dead brother, Beau Biden. Hunter was having a sexual relationship with her. He was also having an inappropriate relationship with Hallie’s 14 year old daughter (his niece). And don’t forget about Hallie’s married sister, Elizabeth Secundy, who he was also involved with. All this was around the same time that he impregnated Lunden Roberts, a stripper from the club he frequented, who he later refused to pay child support to.
