Done that, I would say I am a firm believer even more now than before. Not perfect, but I know my shortcomings, and I don't pretend they don't exist because I have something to measure against.

I did too back in my college years. Realized that I said I doubted so that I did not feel guilt about the sex, drugs, and rock n roll. My faith was stronger having gone through the doubt.
