The movie was brilliant in its showing of confusion in the 'hero' as he attempts as White Knight, to save a maiden in distress who he discovers might possibly be neither.

What you felt when you were a freshman and your crush gave it all to that asshole senior who treated her/him like shit.

I need to revisit the Girl with the dragon tattoo trilogy(Swedish version) . I saw them before I went down the rabbit hole. They were showing us the cabal as I remember.
