We will probably never know. You can find motives for both the West and Russia to blowing up the pipelines. The US could have done it to destabilize Europe, the West could have done it to take away a Russian bargaining chip (heard Germany and Russia were conducting secret negotiations), and Russia could have done it to booster morales at home. Then there is the pipeline from Norway to Poland.

It's all speculation at this point ...

Agreed. I'm going to wait to make my own opinion as I'm sure more info will emerge, just thought this was an interesting take on the situation. Tuning in now to X22 as I'm sure Dave will have an interesting opinion as well.

It's my understanding that gas has not moved in the pipeline since August. Maybe a FF? Good training exercise? Alas, the fog of war.
