If we were to believe anything he says, he mentionned that GM photobombed his picture being taken. For what it's worth, anyway.

Yes, I read this too. A photo proves nothing really, but is all too often used in the Beltway as a baseless example of 'guilt by association'. Was Maxwell that mush of a gadfly? I don't know.... but I agree with your point.
