I agree, but I tend to think that Youngkin is focused on one battle at a time in an entire theater of war. Cementing this act of parents being the 'guardian' of their children and not the State, is crucial for all other acts to follow.
Instead of government viewing they have a lawful say in 'best interests of the child(ren)', it should be the parents have lawful say in the best interests of their child(ren)'. Once this is fully established, then the other pieces will fall into place.
IMHO, the "genital mutilation, cutting off breasts, hormone therapy, etc.." are another battle that needs to be waged under crimes against humanity.
