Timex wrist watches were always set at that time, but I don't know if that means anything,
It was considered visually most appealing. Generally up rather than down and displaying the hands symmetrically about the y axis. Happy, happy hands.
Yep, well according to the NIH...
Interesting. Thanks. I hadn't thought of the resemblance to a smile.
Thanks Fren…makes sense.

As long as I can remember, clocks and watches have been marketed showing the hands at 10 and 2. It seems to be a standard in the industry.
Hands at 10 and 2, a steering/driving reference?
It subconsciously looks like a smile.
Datefagging incoming!
Red October
October 2nd is the new hotness.
10/8 Red October + red marks
Clock fagging. Nice !
Analog clocks are gay anyways. It’s the digital age.
I’ve got a Mickey Mouse analog watch I bought back in the late ‘80’s. Still in the box. Not bragging btw
I prefer an automatic. No battery required. And, the sweep hand has a certain life to it, as opposed to the sterile tick tick tick of a quartz.
⏱️⏰🕰️interesting
Not everything is a conspiracy.
Clocks and wrist watches have always been shown on adverts with their hands at either 10 past 10 or 10 to 2 for decades, this is overthinking.
