Oh really? We've seen a LOT of examples where peaceful assembly and freedom of expression aren't guaranteed in the USA lately. There are certain peaceful J6 demonstrators who have been held without bail and without trial for over 20-months in our own country, some of them having been tortured or held in isolation.
So... Russia is really that bad?
