LOL It must be the day I'm having but I read this like a Babylon Bee article.
I'm actually sad it wasn't, so much so that I am going to make a mock up of one! Haha.
The Biden Administration today said in a statement that it would seek $35 Million in Nuclear Incident Aid, amid rising danger in Ukraine. "The cost of staging Nuclear Incidents has risen faster than inflation. It is now almost 40% more expensive to fund these projects, with the biggest expenditure layouts coming in the early stages - what we call the "Media & Marketing" Phase," a Pentagon spokesperson said. "Small details such as miniature toy warheads, decals, and up-to-date fatigues and gear for crisis actors are significant costs. The Internet has made everyone into sleuths. Accurate presentation is our highest priority now - we need that pre-recorded footage to be indistinguishable from real life down to the smallest details when we send it out to networks," he continued. Recently Texas Senator Ted Cruz told Fox News Sunday that Senate Republicans would block any aid bill that did not include provisions to give U.S. citizens priority over undocumented workers when the projects hire crisis actors. "Crisis acting is fundamentally American work, and a good first job for recent graduates," Cruz said. "You wonder why our crisis acting rates lower than 2/3rds of other nations despite the highest pay of any nation? Outsourcing, we can't allow this to continue. Our nation has a proud legacy of great crisis acting that is in danger." A spokesperson for the Crisis Actors Union could not be reached.
Heh, truth is stranger than fiction sometimes. What is that money for again? 😉
